Spring Market

A new Spring Market will be coming to Saxon Square in the heart of Christchurch from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th April 2021. The market is being organised by Zoom Events, following their inaugural Christmas Market back in December. Visitors will be able to browse a range of stalls with freshly prepared street foods, handmade groceries, arts, crafts and accessories encompassing some familiar traders as well as new stalls added to the line-up.

‘We are looking forward to returning to Christchurch for our Spring Market,’ said Paul Kennedy, Director of Zoom Events. ‘The market will feature a layout which accommodates social distancing and extra sanitation measures will be in place. We want to create a vibrant, interesting shopping experience that is safe for people to enjoy as lockdown measures are eased,’ he continued.

Situated in Saxon Square close to both chain stores and independent retailers, the market will add plenty of colour, intrigue and an extra reason for people to visit their local town centre. Visitors will be able to enjoy street foods from around the world including pork or chicken souvlaki and German sausages, plus Thai and Chinese dishes.

A range of artisan groceries will be available to take home ranging from continental fine foods, old English fudge and coffee beans to award winning flavoured waxed cheese truckles. Meanwhile, the market will showcase a strong selection of arts, crafts and accessories with eco-friendly candles, Staffordshire pottery pieces, wildlife photo prints, sterling silver jewellery and a selection of handbags being among the items on offer.

The Christchurch Spring Market will be open on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th April 2021 from 9am - 6pm and Sunday 25th April from 10am – 5pm.
