Summer Festival at Saxon Square

Keep at bay those back to school blues this August Bank Holiday weekend at Saxon Square Shopping Centre’s Summer Festival.

From 10am-2pm on Saturday 28th August, all the family can join in the fun with entertainment and competitions running across the centre from Giant Jenga and Connect Four challenges to ‘Minute to Win It’ hourly competitions.

The festival will be hosted in conjunction with Heart FM who will provide and host Saxon Square’s Family Zone. The zone will be run by Heart Angels and visitors can take part in a host of activities including face painting, Heart Wii gaming and various competitions.

As well as the Family Zone, Heart Angels will be present on site throughout the day giving out goody bags and running competitions to win vouchers in a host of Saxon Square’s stores.  There will also be a children’s’ entertainer to keep the little ones happy.

Saxon Square Shopping Centre is open seven days a week and has a range of retail outlets to get you ready for the new autumn term at school, including WHSmith, Boots and Priory Sports. If you are not quite ready for the summer to end why not visit Thorntons, Co-Op or Charlie Brown’s Greengrocers to get in supplies for one last Barbeque to round up the summer!
